CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Sui Southern Gas Company Limited, a leading Public Sector Utility Company in Pakistan is looking to fill the position of Chief Financial Officer. This is a pivotal leadership role requiring strategic vision, strong financial acumen, and the ability to operate effectively in a regulated public-sector environment.

Job Summary:

The Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for leading the Company's financial strategy, ensuring robust financial governance, and driving sustainable growth. The role entails formulating and executing financial strategies, developing and reviewing financial plans, and providing strategic guidance to the Finance, Accounts, and Taxation functions. Key responsibilities include preparing and monitoring revenue and capital budgets, overseeing treasury operations such as cash management and investments, managing business licensing, and ensuring full compliance with statutory, legal, and reporting requirements and timely finalization of financial statements.

The incumbent will liaise with external and government auditors, manage Public Accounts Committee matters, and provide oversight to the Regulatory Affairs, and Risk Management departments ensuring effective risk identification and the development of mitigation strategies

Qualification & Experience:

A member of an organized body of professional accountants with at least fifteen (15) years of relevant experience. The candidate must have at least 5 years of experience at a senior management position in a reputable multinational or corporate sector. Oil and Gas Sector/SOE experience shall be considered as an added advantage.
